Reflection of Mount Bonneville on the salt flats

Bring a sense of space and serene tranquillity into your home with this sweeping landscape of a mountain reflected in the still waters of the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, USA. The windless water’s surface creates an almost perfect symmetry, where the rugged, sunlit mountain peaks and the clear blue sky blend into one another. The clean, white horizon line gives this image a powerful, minimalist and almost graphic quality.

Atmosphere in the interior

Thanks to the tranquil composition and the combination of cool blue with the warm earth tones of the mountains, this piece fits well into a modern, Scandinavian, Japandi or minimalist interior. The sweeping perspective gives a room greater visual depth and a sense of space. A lovely addition to, for example, a light-filled living room or a stylish office.

Material suggestion

For a sleek, modern and non-reflective look, aluminium Dibond is an excellent choice. This material really brings out the razor-sharp symmetry and the clean horizon.

Are you looking for a warmer, matt finish that doesn’t reflect? Then canvas or a sleek ArtFrame would suit the serene atmosphere of this landscape well.

For a sophisticated gallery look, you could opt for a photo print with a frame and mat.

Or go for acrylic glass if you want to give the water’s reflection, the blue tones and the mountain extra depth and a high-gloss finish.
